Nagarjuna Construction Company Chairman, Dr A. V. S. Raju, has been given the "Life Time Achievement award" instituted by the Builders Association of India. The Union Minister for Overseas Indian Affairs, Vayalar Ravi, presented the award to Dr AVS Raju at a function held in Kochi on Saturday. Dr AVS Raju has become the first recipient of the award from Andhra Pradesh even as the NCCL has been declared as the fastest growing company in the country by "Construction World" for the year 2006.The Awards Committee of AIMO,Andhra Pradesh State Board recognized his immense contribution to the state and the Nation as a path breaking visionary and builder of modern india and rewarded with this Greatest Achievement.
